My recent visit to the Crocodile Park in Amaravati was truly delightful, making it a wonderful destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike. The park offers a captivating experience, especially for children, with its diverse collection of crocodiles. The variety of crocodile species on display provided an educational and engaging experience for young visitors. The well-maintained enclosures allowed for safe observation, and the knowledgeable staff added valuable insights into the world of these fascinating reptiles. While the park itself exceeded expectations, the issue arose with the parking arrangements. Parking is available on the roadside, a convenient option, but unfortunately, a fee is charged for this service. It seems unnecessary to charge visitors for parking, especially when it's an open area without designated spaces. A complimentary parking service would enhance the overall visitor experience and align better with the park's family-friendly appeal. Despite this minor inconvenience, the Crocodile Park at Amaravati remains a highly recommended destination for a day of learning and exploration. The enchanting atmosphere and captivating exhibits make it a standout attraction in the region.

Entry ticket is Rs.20 per person, and they also charge separately for the vehicles. When enquired, they say it comes under forest range and hence charged for vehicles( this is in addition to the dam entrance). Lots of crocodiles are there. Nice to see them lying inside the guarded place with mouths open. There is a kids' playing area too. Can visit this place while going to Munnar.

This crocodile farm is inside Amaravthi Dam premises. Very small farm but majority of crocs are big. Insane folks thrown huge amount of stones in fences. This place is not maintained properly, poor roads, no security although power generation place is there. Needs to be renovated for tourists attractions. Park entry, farm entry tickets to be purchased. Few food stalls there including governments fish catering. Beware of monkeys!!!

There are very few crocodiles now. Can't see any baby crocodiles or eggs which were maintained earlier. Worst is they have locked a door and it was opened only when I said I will complain to the ranger. They have charged 50₹ for car parking even when the car was parked outside. Not worth traveling specifically to the crocodile farm. Play area for small kids is good.

My kids loved & enjoyed the park watching the crocodiles sleeping, walking very close. Different monkeys were also there. Sliders and other play items are there for children. Restroom is not neatly maintained otherwise the park is good & worth to visit.

Was a very good spot once. Now no maintenance at all. Bad odour everywhere. Only satisfactory thing is their children's park & garden. They charge for cars at both Amaravathi entrance & here too. Say each are separate departments so you should pay at both places. They charge for entry tickets too. Please do some proper maintenance & you can attract a lot of tourists. Small crocodiles are not available at all. Can be visited once for experience.
